I have been using Maps, Charts and Graphs with my 4 oldest for 10 years and have felt they are a huge benefit in the area of learning all those skills I never would have thought to cover. The books are colorful and fun. They have appeal for boys and girls. I've seen that section of the ITBS, (Maps and Diagrams) scored at year 15.4 by my son when he was in 7th grade, year 11.3 for my daughter in 6th grade. I feel it must be this resource that has helped, because I hardly cover these skills myself in other classes. The books are usually done in 10 to 12 weeks even if we don't do one lesson a day. I love them.
